전기히터 · 전기난로jeongihiteo · jeonginanro

Short answer: Small appliance collection box (소형 폐가전 수거함); for big heaters, large waste (sticker).

Where it goes

Small appliance box소형 폐가전 수거함

Or: Large waste (sticker) 대형폐기물 — see the steps below.

  1. Small heaters: small appliance collection box at the 주민센터 or your apartment complex, if it fits.
  2. Five or more small appliances together: free pickup — call 1599-0903 or book at 15990903.or.kr.
  3. Big heaters: register them as large waste with your district.

The national guideline lists electric heaters as waste appliances, and electric stoves as “large waste or appliances”. Electric heaters are on the free pickup list for small items. Oil and gas heaters are not covered here — ask your district.
